CLIFFORD SIMMONS, CPA/CVA

Few CPAs are willing or able to tackle the financial complexities of the health care industry. Clifford Simmons welcomes the opportunity -- and, he's more than up to the challenge.

After graduating with high honors from Rutgers University - Camden, and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting he became a staff accountant with Baratz & Associates, P.A. - where he was heavily involved in accounting and auditing issues and engagements. In just a few years he was named Partner and initiated the development of the firm's consulting business specializing in the health care industry.

His working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements enables him to focus on services that help doctors and hospitals adjust to ever changing and growing demands.

While maintaining a rigorous schedule of continuing education in his role as a CPA and Health Care consultant, he is still able to follow his passion for soccer -- not only as a player but also by working with young athletes. The soccer academy he founded, to teach both soccer and life skills, has now grown to almost 300 families.

Cliff is committed to the Partnership yet still finds the time to enjoy the good life with his wife Anne, and three children, Ian, Andrew, and Caitlin.

Impressive credentials

Cliff graduated with high honors from Rutgers University Camden. He is a CPA in the state of New Jersey. In addition to his CPA, he is a Certified Valuation Analyst ("CVA") and a registered representative with a FINRA Series 6 and 65 licenses. He is also much in demand as a speaker for: the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association as well as hospital medical staffs and private physician groups. Cliff has been qualified as an expert witness in healthcare cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Meaningful affiliations

Cliff is a non-attorney member of the American Health Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, and the Medical Group Management Association (national and regional chapters).
