1. Who will look after my business needs on a regular basis?

Your concern is well founded. Many accounting firms do not provide adequate backup when the primary partner, who normally handles your business, is not available. Our firm is structured so that you are never at a loss for professional assistance with in-depth knowledge of your business. The team assigned to you will be comprised of primary partner, alternate partner, senior accountant and junior accountant.

2. I'm looking for a firm with expertise and in-depth knowledge in my specialized field. Does Baratz have healthcare industry experience?

Since 1985, Baratz, under the direction of partner Clifford Simmons, CPA, has been providing significant healthcare consulting in both profit and non-profit sectors. His knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements enables the firm to stay on top of ever changing and growing demands.

3. I need a financial planner. Does your firm have the experience and credentials that will convince me to entrust you with my future wellbeing?

Baratz is a truly objective source. Unlike some firms offering financial planning, we do not market insurance or investments - we simply provide sound advice on how to achieve financial goals through estate planning, tax strategies and risk management. Members of our firm hold the designation of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) as granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

4. My business is complex so I am looking for a firm that provides more than accounting services. I need a consultant to advise me on business strategy and regulatory issues. Can you provide the services I need?

We participate in and have passed the Peer Review Program administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. The Peer Review makes sure that up-to-date and correct standards and procedures are used by the Firm - thus reducing client risk and insuring client decisions are based on sound accounting principals.
