MARK H. WANDER, CPA/PFS/ABV/CFF

It's hard to imagine that one man can cover so many bases, but there's no doubt that Mark Wander is that man. He's the go-to expert for personal financial planning, business valuations, including matrimonial and divorce related issues, business consulting, retirement planning, and tax administration. He has even been qualified as an expert witness in business valuation and other litigation matters and has provided court and mediation testimony in New Jersey and Colorado.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University and four years later became a Certified Public Accountant for New Jersey. He began his professional career as an accountant for Laventhal & Horwath, CPAs in Philadelphia. Moving on, he helped found Baratz & Associates, P.A. in 1982 where he remains active as a shareholder.

The many services he provides for his clients and the firm keep him very busy yet he has always made quality time for his wife Marla and their three daughters: Lauren, Rachelle and Daryl.

Mark is a holder of a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA and SEC Series 6 & 63 exam license. He is also accredited by AICPA in Business Valuations (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).

Meaningful affiliations

Mark maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA Committee on Personal Financing and Taxes and Estate and was past president of Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey. Mark has a N.J. Life Insurance license as well.
