Meet the Staff Joining Us from RKG:
Steven M. Green, CPA, CGMA
Steve brings years of expertise in financial matters relating to wholly-owned businesses and non-profit organizations. He joined RKG in 1994 and was managing partner until the merger with Baratz & Associates, PA.
He was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Accounting and Marketing from Temple University, and he has been a practicing CPA since 1975.
Steve has specialized in working with law firms, physicians and dental offices, manufacturers and non-profit organizations, and is an expert in financial forecasting and projections, performing internal control evaluations, obtaining financing, and the acquisition and disposition of businesses.
Steve has performed countless peer reviews for other CPA firms, and is a former board member of a New York-based Mutual Fund.He is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the American Institute of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, and the Fort Washington Business Alliance where he formerly served as Treasurer.
David J. Kramer, Esq., CPA
David J. Kramer, following in the footsteps of his father who co-founded RKG, joined that firm in 1987, expanding the capabilities of RKG by bringing both his accounting and law degrees to the firm.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude as a President’s Scholar from Temple University, David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and then continued on at Temple Law School, attending classes at night and working during the day.
Following his law school graduation, David joined Coopers & Lybrand (later PWC) as a tax associate and tax supervisor. During his tenure, he provided tax planning services for corporate mergers and acquisitions.
David excels in working with entrepreneurial-owned companies on federal and state income tax planning and estate planning, and consults on the acquisition and disposition of businesses, financing and business succession planning.
His dual specialty in accounting and law enables him to represent many of his clients in federal, state and local tax litigation. He also provides litigation support services to law firms and other CPAs.
David is a member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He is also authorized to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.
Mark J. Cieri, CPA, CGMA, CVA
After earning his BA in Accounting from Philadelphia University, Mark worked in public accounting as a staff accountant serving privately owned companies and not-for-profit organizations. Mark joined RKG as a staff accountant and obtained CPA license in 2002.
During some time with The Reinvestment Fund, a Philadelphia-based non-profit specializing in finance for urban development, Mark gained experience in a wide variety of areas including non-profit finance structures, private equity funds, construction accounting and financing, New Market Tax Credit limited partnerships, limited liability companies, traditional not-for-profits, and multi-level consolidating entities. He was with the fund about four years.
Currently Mark oversees audits, preparation of financial statements, and preparation of tax returns for privately held for profit businesses and non-profit organizations. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Laurie Vitullo, CPA
In her role as Tax Manager, Laurie Vitullo offers a wide range of tax-related services, including federal, state, local and international tax compliance and reporting for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates and non-profit organizations. She also handles tax research, strategic planning, tax audits and notice resolution.
Prior to joining RKG, Laurie was with a Certified Public Accounting firm in New York where she worked with high net worth individuals and family groups in real estate and various industries. Before that Laurie ran her own CPA practice for 20 years. She has a strong understanding of both small businesses and family-run organizations.
A graduate of New York’s Baruch College with a BBA in Accounting, Laurie is certified in New York and New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSSCPA) and the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA).
